Ingredients
Sauce
- 20 ml Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced) or shallot (minced)
- 60 g Tomato paste
- 60 ml Vodka
- 200 ml Heavy cream
- 400 g Canned tomatoes (crushed)
- 8 g Salt
Instructions
- Sauté garlic (and/or shallot) in oil; cook tomato paste until deep brick red.
- Deglaze with vodka; simmer briefly to cook off harsh alcohol.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and heavy cream; simmer 10–15 minutes; season with salt.
